Favorite Blanket

Next on my needles is the Alphabet Blanket from The Baby Knits book by Debbie Bliss. From the first time I saw it, years ago, I always wanted to knit it but never wanted to knit it for anyone else but me. Now the time has come that I can! The yarn I ordered just came in and I'm anxious to start.

With a block for each letter of the alphabet, all the chart work scares me a bit but it will be so worth it!

  2. By the end of it, you'll enjoy the charts. SO much easier than reading the pattern written out!

There is little better than wrapping your little one in a cozy blanket you knit with love in every stitch.

  7. I remember you showing me this pattern a few years ago and I was wondering if you still planned to make it! This is one of the most beautiful baby blankets I have ever seen. Keep us posted with photos along the way.

  8. I have seen one or two of those blankets completed and they really do look beautiful. Every new baby should have something special knit for them. I still have my 2 blankets that my aunties made for me when I had my daughter.
