Cowl No. 1

Yes, I have totally joined the cowl craze that is taking over the knitting world and I'm lovin' it! I think I need to join this Flickr group to make it official and become a  Cowlgirl!

This is the first of many to come. It's the Purl's Cashmere Cowl Pattern and it's a FREE one!

Very simple and very cute - looks cute with my butterfly pin too.

************************************************************************

Pattern Source: "Purl's Cashmere Cowl" FREE from Purl Soho
Yarn: It is some wonderful hand-dyed yarn from The Plucky Knitter - one of the skeins from the package that I got from her - I think it might have been called "The Plucky Knitter BFL Fingering" - 400 yrds to the skein so I will have enough to make another for sure.
Needles: I think they were my 10 1/2, 16 inch circulars???

  2. That looks fab. You've got me really wanting to make one now. I have some BFL Superwash from Plucky, from this months Plucky Classics :) I just need to wind the skein before I start using it though!
    Love the brooch with it.
    (btw, what is BFL?)

  11. It looks like a great cowl, but your yarn choice is gorgeous!

And the pin? Make sure you don't wear it to knit night...I may just "try it on" lol!
