Week Off!

Thank you soooo much for the comments on my Karate Sweater! Gosh, I just love that knit!

This week I actually took off of work as vacation - yippee! - so I'm not sure how much I'll be around. Hubby and I don't have set plans but we do have some home improvements to do and still plan to get away for a couple nights. I also have a lot of things that I haven't been able to do that I plan to get done this week, like finally redoing my Knitterella site! Hopefully I'll get to my Jill Zielinski Designs site too - I know, I know, it's only a week and it will fly by but I'm going to try to get the most out of it!

Just incase I'm not around as much this week I did want to show you some things that I'm working on. Like this Poncho Vest out of Knitscene, Spring 2007. So far it's a simple knit and I got the perfect gauge using some of my stash yarn, it's Van Dyck (double stranded) in a nice army green.I also had enough yarn left over from my Karate Sweater to cast on for the Balthazar Vest out of Big City Knits. The sizing is so crazy on this one. The pattern is for bust sizes of 25", 28", 30" and 33" and that's it! I mean are they for real?!? Don't you think this is a mistake too? Damn you Big City Knits… so many errors but such cool designs! Can you tell I'm ready for fall knits!

Have a great week and hope you're here when I get back!

You'll have both of those done in no time! Do you think the bust sizing should have started at 35, not 25? Who has a 25" bust? Maybe my 9 yr old!

Enjoy your week! Be sure to take some actual vaction time :)
