While moving into my new house I realized, I have way to much Knitterella inventory! Therefore, an INVENTORY SALE is in order.
Part one of my inventory sale will be my Knitterella Project Bags. I love these bags but it's time to cut their prices and move them out so I can make room for new bags.
There are only a limited number of these bags left so I've moved them over to my Knitterella Etsy Shop. See available designs below…

TNNA 2012 Photobook
What a wonderful and inspiring time I had at TNNA last June in Columbus, Ohio. This year my wholesale distributor, Deep South Fibers, invited their designers to come and have their own half booth space. It was my first time having a booth and I had a BLAST! Below are some photos of the event…
(My own Knitterella booth - not too bad for a first time exhibitor.)
(Free buttons!)
(Sample knits and promo cards for my newest pattern - Mojavé)
(I had a tshirt made for the event - I really like how it turned out, maybe I should add some to my shop?)
(Kate was the best booth-mate.)
(She was super-mom running her busy booth and taking care of her precious 8 week old baby at the same time! Oliver was so good. He made the cutest hat model too.)
(My girl FPK.)
(It was so cool to have the talented Gudrun in the booth next to me. I'm an admirer her work so it was extra cool to meet her.)
(My friend Erica and my new friend Anne came to my booth. These girls are so fun - isn't Erica's custom maternity tee too cute?!)
(My new friend Hilary. Such a sweet girl.)
(FPK and I in Tiny Owl Knits booth. I love her magical designs and did you know she can sing? I mean REALLY sing - check her out - Amazing!)
(I was bummed that my friend Carrie wasn't there this year but her Fiar sample knit was - I've got to make one of these!)
(Here I am with my friend Sarah, from Ravelry - I always love seeing her.)
(Meeting Vickie Howell was awesome. I'm a longtime fan and being that I just finished the logo for her new charity initiative, The Purple Stitch Project, meeting her in person was extra special.)
(The long days always came to an end at the Hyatt lounge where every gathered to knit. SO many laughs there. Here I am with FPK, Brandy, Anne and Allegra - love these girls and miss them tons!)
What a fun time I had. I'm already excited thinking about next year's show!

Giveaway: Mojave
I just got back from a wonderful TNNA (more on that later) and was pleased to see the hard copies of my newest pattern, Mojave, were waiting for me when I got home.
While I get settled back into the swing of things I thought I'd offer a little giveaway. Leave me a comment, let me know what you think of my new pattern and in a couple days I'll draw a winner (or two or three) and send a hard copy of my Mojave pattern your way!

A Sonoran Cowl & Knitterella News
Thank you all for the purchases and positive feedback on my Sonoran Cowl pattern! I'm so proud of it and thrilled that it's going over so well. Releasing my second pattern feels so good and I've been very busy getting ready to release my third (hopefully this week!).

Although I haven't been able to post many new FOs my needles have been very busy. There has been lots of test knitting, sample knitting and new pattern designing going on over here. Needless to say I'm trying to get as much done as I can before June's TNNA in Columbus. I'm very thankful to be a part of the awesome Deep South Fibers team again this year. What's even more exciting is this year I'm actually going to have my own Knitterella space! I'm sharing a booth with the lovely and fun Kate Oates of Tot Toppers. SO exciting!
So with June right around the corner I have LOTS to do. Hopefully my blog won't go to the wayside too much. I know when I do post though it should be exciting stuff because it's likely to be new patterns and maybe even products!
To stay up to date on Knitterella's happenings please sign up for my new eNewsletter. Towards the top of the right hand column on my blog you can see where to enter your email. As always, thank you so much for your support and encouragement. You all are the best!

NEW PATTERN: Sonoran Cowl
The anticipation to release my second, self-published pattern this week has been killing me! After lots of work, trial and error, I'm SO excited to finally able to release it today. Introducing, my newest pattern, the Sonoran Cowl!

A southwest inspired motif is knit into this colorwork cowl. Beautifully colored yarn gives this bold graphic stunning results. This is a great, stylish accessory to keep you warm during the chilly months!

I had a bit of hesitation when I first dreamt this cowl up. I mean, I've only done charted colorwork knitting once before and that was back in 2007! I wasn't sure what I would be getting myself into but I’m glad I decided to jump headfirst into colorwork design. Being a graphic designer the process of designing a graphic and then turning into a colorwork chart for knitting felt very natural. I enjoyed it so much I know you will see more colorwork designs from me in the future!

With The Plucky Knitter's new Plucky Rustic as my muse, this cowl turned into a work of art! As you know, I just adore Sarah and her yarn and this new yarn base was no exception. Rustic just soaks up her colors making vibrant, beautiful yarn. I love the way this knit up and I frankly can't wait to cast on for another. With Sarah's amazing palette picking out the color combos is such a fun part of the process.

The Sonoran Cowl pattern is available for purchase today! You can order a downloadable PDF or a hard copy HERE

But WAIT there's more! This Thursday, in a shop update, Sarah will be offering my Navajo Cowl pattern in a Southwest color work kit!!! This is a great opportunity to get the pattern along with the gorgeous yarn that it was design for. Besides, Plucky Rustic is Sarah's newest yarn and I know you want to get your hands on it. And now you'll have the perfect pattern for it too ;)
So go ahead… Queue it up! Cast on! and have fun knitting this fun, stylish cowl!
