I'm very happy to report that I survived my first experience with LIVE TV! I got up at 3 AM yesterday morning and, along with Liberty from Great Lakes Bay Moms, we made the trip to Clio, MI to be ready for our 2, 2 minute-ish live segments with Brittany Shannon of my local TV25 morning news.

Knitterella and GLBM on TV

I was SO thankful to make it through with no major screw ups. Really, I was pretty darn nervous! A huge thanks to everyone on set and to Liberty for making me feel welcomed and relaxed. It was a lot of fun!

The below picture is a photo of me on set. The segment was about bundling up yourself and your kids for the cold weather. A more detailed article from GLBM can be found HERE. In the segment I explained that the patterns on my left were my original Knitterella pattern designs and since I have yet to add children's patterns to my line, the hats on the right of me were made from FREE patterns found online. A list and links to each sample knit that I had on set can be found HERE.

TNNA Report
Wow! Where do I begin? TNNA was so much fun. To think I was only able to be there for 6 hrs on Saturday is crazy. No way did I get to see everything but everything that I did see was wonderful. First off to see my Knitterella product displayed at the Bryson booth was a thrill. Really, it's still hard for me to comprehend that I have a rep like Bryson!
As if seeing my Knitterella product on display wasn't enough, I was able to meet so many knitters and designers. Designers that I admire like Nina of SKIF, Maggie of Pick Up Sticks, Norah Gaughan, Ysolda and Amy Butler (OMG, Amy Butler was debuting her new line of YARN! You're going to love it). Such a whirlwind! I would have taken more photos but technically cameras weren't allowed. However, I was able to sneak a photo of Amy Butler with my phone. (That's the lovely Melynda of French Press Knits on the left - luckily her and I were able to meet up and cruise the show together)
The photo below from Ysolda's awesome make shift photo booth. Her booth was really fun.
I was also able to meet up with people that I've been doing graphic design work for. People like della Q, Debra's Garden, Fibersphere, Knitwhits and Deep South Fibers. It was so nice to be able to finally put a face with a name.
Melynda and I had so much fun at this event that we just registered to go to Stitches Mid West in August. Are any of you going? I'm excited to meet more fellow knitters. It's a great group to be a part of!

Big Knitterella News!
I haven't been busy blogging or knitting lately but I have been very busy stuffing, labeling and packing cards and tags. That's because I have BIG Knitterella news…
I'm so excited to announce that I've partnered with Bryson Distributing!!! Bryson will now be my wholesale distributor! I'm so excited to see what's in store and so honored to be partnering up with such a great name in the biz. My first order is almost ready to go… TNNA HERE I COME!!!!!!

Cardi Update & More Buzz
Thought I'd pop in and post an update on THIS. It's soooo close to being done! It needs to get done by Friday so I can be ready to start the Olympics.

Buzzin'
I was at my LYS the other day flippin' through a few of my favorite knitting magazines and I found my Knitterella product featured in 3 spots!

To find my product featured is such a great feeling. It's too cool to be among such great product — So exciting! 2010 is off to a good start for Knitterella already!

Now In Patternworks!
I'm totally pumped! You can now find Knitterella Gift Tags in Patternworks! Not only in their magazine, but also on their website.
It was very exciting to get a copy of the new 30th Anniversary, Spring issue mailed to me and to flip to my product page. Just awesome!
