Sewing Class

I just signed up for a sewing class with my cousin Amy. Should be fun! I went today to pick up a couple projects.I finally got my hands on some Amy Butler fabrics. Oooo, I love them! I wanted to make the Barcelona Skirt, but they were out of the pattern. Instead I'm doing a Chelsea Bag and the Apron from In-Stitches (love this book!).

Sooo many projects, sooo little time!!!!

Looks like fun! Be forewarned - fabric stashing is as addictive as yarn stashing. Love your choices.

Great fabric! We have a store here in Bozeman called Reproduction Fabrics that has some of the coolest fabric. I haven't bought any there yet, except for some oil cloth we used to cover our patio chairs . . . but I'm hoping to get back there for a project soon. Maybe one from the Roaring 20's collection. Have fun in your class!

Oh, I love your blog! Everything is so fun to look at. I want to take a sewing class so badly, maybe this winter. I end up handsewing everything which is so time consuming. Those flower pin tags are a great idea and so cute on the hats. I love your cropped sweater in Noro, so beautiful and it will look fantastic on you! Is that too many compliments? I hope not. Keep up the good work, Jill!

Great minds think alike! I made one Chelsea bag - loved it but now need to go back and tweak my mistakes. And the apron was so fun, I gufted it for a bridal shower and it was a hit. I just bought my linig for the barcelona, maybe by the time spring comes...it will be done?? Have fun!
