Apron No. 1

I love the way my Short Pleated Apron from Amy Butler's In-Stitches turned out! So fun and easy to make I think I'll make more for gifts.I embellished the pocket with my monogram. Always wanted to try hand embroidery and this was the perfect place for it!I just love it! Especially the fabric. Even though I'm a beginner at sewing I'm afraid I'm already turning into a fabric snob - I want more of Amy's fabrics!

It looks fabulous! I have a very old apron and I put it on the other day and thought I should try to make a new one. I've never really thought about replacing it, but something new would be nice.

Great job! I love the contrast of the orange dots with the main fabric. The monogram is the perfect touch.

Awesome! And I have bins of fabric that scream in accusation because I plainly did not discover my fabric snobbery soon enough. Buy what you love! And once again; beautiful finish work.

That is a fab apron! I want to make one too! When I saw your work on the embroidery, I started obsessing on what I could find to embroider. You are too much of an inspiration for my wallet!

I don't believe there isn't a thing you can't do and do beautifully. Would you mind sending a bit of your mojo in the mail to me please?

I love the fabric combination! Especially the fabric with the yellow dots (is it from a special line of fabrics?)
