Fast iCords
I'm making a couple felted purses for Christmas gifts and I need to make 80 inch i-cords for the straps (boooring). I bought this at Jo Ann Fabrics because I thought it would quickly whip the i-cords out for me but either I'm using it wrong or it's a hunk of junk because I'm getting no where but tangled up in knots with it. (I wonder if I can still return it even though it's opened?)

You don't want to knit 80 inch i-cords? Go figure:) Betz White swears by this little gadget and had some hints on her old blog - I tried to find them - drats. BUT I am expecting her book in the mail any day - if there are hints in there - I'll be in touch. I have the gadget and have only admired it so far:) Good luck.

I have this also, the first couple I tried to make came out crazy looking, but after much practice they come out nice. I luckily followed the directions and it worked, but I've heard of many people who have problems, I just make sure the weight is hanging tightly at the bottom and there is no tension coming into the top, sorry I dont have any good tips, I do have a video of me using it?? The only other yarn I've used other than the sample was cascade 220, but I think my sister used debbie bliss baby cashmerino for dolls legs

I have this too. I love to sit and turn the handle, but you must use the correct weight yarn. It won't work on anything heavier than a sport weight.
I got one of those. I did ok with it for a while, but I recently pulled it out and the little metal pieces that open and close to keep the yarn in place don't seem to want to close. Oh well! Good luck!
