I finally got to weaving in my loose-ends! I finished up right after Christmas. I love this throw! I cuddle up in it every night on the couch. It's sooo soft and comfy and actually really warm.
Here's a detail of the stitches. It's all knit and so easy. It's just that one row of increase, shortly followed by a row of decreases continued through the pattern that makes the beautiful 'ruched' texture.
Pattern Source: "Ruched Throw," pattern based out of the book Hand Knits for the Home
Yarn: Lana Grossa, Soffice, it's 62% Merino, 10% Cashmere and 28% Acrylic - the 10% cashmere makes a world of difference
Needles: 8s

Just beautiful! It looks so cozy, and the subtle colors are very classy.
That looks gorgeous, and so warm and cozy. My knitting is going slow right now so I've got nothing to add to my blog!

The throw is beautiful. Love the pic you posted of you snuggling in it. And the twins hats from Sunday were awesome! Keep up the good work!!
Oooooh so pretty! What a great yarn snuggle in, too;)
I have never knit a throw- this makes me rethink that idea!
The pattern would make a sweet baby blanket, wouldn't it? It sounds easy to downsize.
