I know you've seen this hat a million times but isn't the architecture of the stitch pattern great! I'm sure I'll do this one again.

Pattern Source: "Koolhaas" by Jared Flood from Brooklyn Tweed
Yarn: Patons, Classic Wool Merino
How Much Yarn: 1 skein (about 3/4s of 1 skein)
Needles: size 6, 16" circulars
Size: sm/med
Notes: I did have some problems with one of the decrease rounds. It was driving me nuts too but thanks to Peaknit I got it straight. I emailed her about it and she dug out her pattern and tried to figure out what I was doing wrong - turns out I was just reading the pattern wrong. Thank you, Peaknit! That was so nice of you to help a fellow knitter out!
The pattern is in Interweave Knits 07 Holiday Gifts Issue. Or you can buy it here.

It looks gorgeous! Can I whisper you a secret in case you want to make another one? ssh! cable without a cable needle! It's life changing!
This hat rocks! Did EZ steal it for himself??
Oh...thanks for the note on the felting! I haven't tried it yet, but will definitely let you know!
I never get sick of looking at that pattern, it looks so cool. I think I might have to try it myself sometime soon!
How many skeins of yarn did it take?
The hat looks great!! I look forward to making this one someday. :)
You hat looks awesome! I want to try knitting this pattern one day :)
Yum :)
the hat looks great and that picture is so cool! the effect is really neat!
Great job on the hat! I love the pattern and have been wearing mine practically every day. It's definitely a knit-more-than-once project.
I love the Koolhaas hat, did you do extra pattern rounds? It looks a bit longer to me, I like it that way, when I knit it up for my hubby, it was a bit too short :P
