Apron No. 4

I finally had my date with you know who and it went really well. It felt so good to be together again! :)

I was able to finish my reversible Emmeline Apron. I made this one for a friend's wedding shower gift. I gave it to her over the weekend along with some cookbooks and she really liked it. So glad!

I knew when I started this apron that I had to tribute one side to her love for leopard print. It was a little challenging to find a fun print for the other side that didn't totally clash - I do like the combo I found though.

I'm very pleased with how this turned out. The pattern was easy to follow. I was a little confused when I had to make my own bias tape (because I never did that before) but really, once I understood what I was doing it was very easy and a great technique to learn.

Now I need to make one for me!

I just have to get mine done - I have the fabric bought and washed...but that's where my enthusiasm halted - but yours is fabulous - inspiring even??:)

Fun! but now you've scared me a little with the bias tape? Hopefully I'll understand the pattern too.
Now go make yours!

Great apron! I love it!

I need to move beyond straight stitches so I can do fun stuff like that!

As the recipient of this sassy little number I must say this apron was one of the best gifts I have ever gotten! I get tons of compliments whenever I wear it and it hangs in my kitchen as decoration when it's not in use - absolutely adorable.

Jill, you should definitely consider selling these...I know a couple girls who are very interested : )
