Cuddly Critters

Did you all see the Winter 2009 issue of Liondesign. You know, the catalog from Lion Brand? It's a free catalog to sign up for. Anyway, aren't these knitted (and crocheted) critters so stinking cute!? I have to get to them sometime soon. I want to try the Giraffe for sure, and the Owl and the Octopus and, oh gosh, they are all so cute!

If you gotta make these like I do, they're free patterns and you can find them here. Have fun!

Oh my what lovely critters. I have to download them to get the patterns since they don't post to OZ but hey with a giraffe like that it's no problem!!

I am surprised every time I receive a lion magazine -- I love the patterns they have! It's nice that so many of them are free, too. Those animals are adorable; can't wait to see what you make first!

They are so cute!
I went to the new Lion Brand store in Manhattan last night and I must say, I was impressed! They have added a few new yarns that look great. Their colors are really good and the staff was so kind, helpful and enthusiastic.

These are so great! Thanks for sharing. It is my goal to work through my stash of yarn this year and projects like this will help tremendously. And they are so cute!
