Rainbow Stripes

Has a week really went by since my last post? I don't even have much to report as far as projects go besides some hats that I'm working on - you know I always have hats on my needles. I finished this one…

Tell me, could this be for a baby boy OR girl? I was going for gender neutral but does the pink in it make too girly? Either way I love the colorful stripes!

Very cool, but looks like a little girl's hat.

First rule of baby clothes is that they can pretty much wear anything so long as the MAMA doesn't get upset if they are mistaken for the wrong gender :)

An easy check would be to put it against something blue. In this photo I'm seeing girl but I think that is because of the shirt in the background.

This little hat is adorable!

I think this hat is gender neutral. I can not even see the pink, maybe it is my computer.

Adorable hat! I am seeing little girl though.

Personally, I think that it looks gender neutral. But if it bothers you as being too girly, you might just want to give it to a baby girl.

I will admit that I am really irritated by the whole blue=boy, pink=girl thing, so maybe I'm just being contrary ...

The hat looks gender neutral to me. I'd put it on a boy. Love the stripes too.

It looks very gender neutral to me, when you asked the question is it for a boy or a girl I couldn't tell. It looks great, the colors work really well for either.

Adorable! I'd say it could be for either... my husband would say no way - it's just for a girl with the pink top and stripes. ;)

All I can see is girl...I'm sorry..just trying to be honest!! It's ways easier to put more boyish colors on girls than vice versa!

Is it a hot pink? I think since you ended it with a hot pink knot on the top I would lean towards a girl. Great hat! I have yet to make one of those.

My dh is making rude jokes, but I always ignore them. I would have put it on my baby boys, but like a PP said -- some will assume baby is a girl since it isn't all "boy" colors. Then again, you put baby in a blue and white striped hat & someone is going to tell you what a gorgeous little girl you have.

I think it would look great on a little boy. I love seeing bright beautiful colors and babies. It makes them look even more adorable!

Love!!!!! the hat, but it looks girly to me. Maybe it's your ''mother's intuition'' knowing what's one the way :) !!

I think it could easily work for a boy or girl!
