Empty Needles

I swear I haven't knit a stitch since The Open House. I'm in a major knitting funk and that doesn't make for a very exciting knitting blog. Sorry about that.

Not that I don't have anything to knit either. I have a least 5 baby gifts to make and lots of other things that I wanted to make for myself. Maybe the snow storm that just dumped on us has something to do with it? I mean, it's supposed to be spring. Yuck. Gosh, I sure hope I snap out of this funk soon!

Yeah, I think all of use falls into this funk once in a while. Hoping your mojo comes back.

I was so excited to be able to score s Smocked Slouch Kit yesterday during The Plucky Knitter update yesterday.

Do NOT mention snow storms! Rain I'll take but I'm sick to death of snow and cold. I want SPRING!

I do have these funks too. It usually happens more when it is warmer outdoors. I get my knitting juices going though when I get going to Stitches Market.

I was in that same funk recently! Itty Bitty Toys by Susan B. Anderson snapped me out of it fast, though! Maybe you just need some great new patters :)

You will. Time heals all wounds, even a funk. :)

Yep! I get it.

I posted a project I finished a little while ago and hadn't gotten around too.

But I haven't had anything on the go for a week and winter doesn't want to end either.

Yep...yuck is right!

Really, really frustrating - that knitting funk. Then, add Old Man Winter hanging on like lint in Velcro and it just compounds the funkness. Hopefully we all will be wallowing in lovely Spring weather soon ... and knitting something fabulous like a sassy ribbon yarn tank-top for summer!

It's no fun being in a funk! I think we are all tiring of this cold weather - bring on the sunshine and outdoor knitting!

that's funny because when I read the first paragraph I thought, "she needs to cast on for a baby item! They are quick and always cute." It lifts me out of the funk. Try Gooseberry - quick and fun.
