Just-In-Case-It's-A-Girl Blanket

Hello! Sorry it took me a week to get back to posting. It seemed to take forever for me to get caught up and really, I'm still not but I think weekends should only be for work of the knitty kind!

Since we are not finding out the gender of this baby I'm busy trying to get two baby blankets done. I've already started my 'just-in-case-it's-a-boy' blanket - more on that later. For the 'just-in-case-it's-a-girl' blanket I'm going to do 'Abby's Blanket' designed by Kirsten Kapur of Through The Loops. When I first saw Kristen's post of this blanket done up in stripes I fell in LOVE! It's just so pretty and colorful - plus I have a great stash of Berroco, Touché to use for it - double LOVE!

Because I have to plan things like this out, I took the time to chart out some colorways. Now I just don't know which option to go with…

Option #1

Option #2

Option #3

Option #4

Can you help? I know these aren't majorly different but different enough that I don't know which one to do. I would love to hear what you think. Which option do you think I should go with?

They all are good, but Option 3 really calls to me.

I like 3.

4 is nice too, if you like your colour patterns to look more random the orange stripe is a nice touch.

I really love option 3, it makes the blanket pop with the pink in the centre, and when I had my daughter I didnt want any pink but she looked so cute in it I could never resist so she ended up with a mix of colors including pink!

I think I like option #3 the most because of the pink stripe that stands out in the middle. I thinks it's more colorful but not too much either... Just my opinion ;-)

I really like option 3...very girlie. The pink really adds to the brightness of the color combination.

Any one would be lovely, but when I squinted and slowly moved them into view, number 3 was the winner for me. Something about that darker border and dark center just said 'yes' to me. :)
