A Few Good Skeins

I'm looking into my stash for a few good skeins, to make a few cute knits, for a few sweet boys.

Two of those sweet boys are Samuel and Padraig. Aren't they absolutely precious! I'm not sure what I'm going to cast on for yet. I'm open for suggestions. What are your favorite go-to boy knits?

Hats are always great for boys and quick to knit up. I've also made fingerless gloves for my man. Sometimes, though, I worry about boys and I make them scarves. They never dress warm enough!

I made the Gramps cardigan by Kate Oates for my little boy, and it is SO cute. It starts at 6 months size, though, so if you're hoping for a newborn sized sweater, maybe the Puerperium cardigan by Kelly Brooker?

I think my very favorite is still Trellis: http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEspring05/PATTtrellis.html

An oldie but a goodie! I love hats for boys, too. I've made this one several times, and it always turns out so cute! http://coloradomoms.com/craftycrap/skater-baby-brim-hat-free-knitting-pattern/

Happy knitting!
