Knitting Soothes My Soul

I big thank you to all that have sent love and hugs our way. It meant so much to us. It's still hard to believe that Marley isn't here… we really miss that ol' stinky mutt. Uh, I get so sad everytime I think about it… so, nothing like knitting to sooth the soul, right?

These little Saartje Bootees did bring a smile to my face. Are they the cutest, or what!?I'm sure you've seen this pattern all over blogland. It's such a cute little pattern and great way to use up left over yarn. It's free too - get it here.

Your booties are darling! Still thinking of you as my own wounds were slow to heal when we had to say good bye to Fozzy - those darn dogs:)

Your new header looks great!

The booties are really cute. How hard is the pattern?? I am thinking of knitting some up.

And as far as knitting soothing the soul... when my #1 kitty passed away - that's when I learned to knit. I knew I had to use my hands or I'd go nuts. Knitting really helped me heal.

Hey Jill. These are super cute! Saw your post about the album. It was for Cynthia. She sent the cutest thank you card with some great pics. Cute baby, too!

I'm so sorry Jill. I missed that post about Marley. I'm sending a great big hug and some warm thoughts your way.

Love the booties! Can they be made larger? Like for a grown woman? I would so wear those.

I am still thinking about you and your sweet dog. I am sorry. Knitting does help distract the mind.
Those booties are killing me. I keep saying I am going to make them and then I don't. What's wrong with me? I love your new photo in the header. It's beautiful.
