Say Hello To My Little Friend

Yeah, we have a love/hate relationship…Seriously though, my sewing class is going well and I'm having a lot of fun! Even trying my 'hand' at some hand-embroidery to embellish one of my projects.Always loved hand-embroidery and wanted to try it - so far I'm Lovin' it!

Thank you A Friend To Knit With for the tip on my Aamu. I did run a couple strands of elastic thread through the bottom ribbing and now it fits great! Thanks so much!

I have the same feelings about my seam rippers - sometimes it depends on if I backtacked or not:) Hate pulling out those!

Lovin your J!!! Can't wait to see what will become of it.
So glad you were able to tighten up your aamu!
Remember that for socks too!!

Ahhh...MISter Seam Ripper...there is a definite love/hate relationship with him in this house. He also likes to hide at the most inopportune moments, just to punish me -- watch out for that! ;)

The elastic tip was brilliant!! I need to store that in my head for future problems!

Oh, I know that little friend all too well!
I love your embroidery project. I've never thought to hand embroider an initial, don't know why!

I love embroidery too. Thanks for the warm wishes on the travels. I hope it all goes smoothly. Putting that elastic in is so smart!
