I recently bought a couple handmade items from Mint Basil (just found her blog and love her work!) from her Etsy shop The Cherry Stem. Along with these items being so well-made and just lovely, her added details to her packaging really made it even more special!
She used delicate twine embelished with buttons and even this one, with a vintage clip-on earring. I just thought this was so sweet!
The first little gift I opened was this perfectly sewn Pencil Case - with linen flower embellishment - and you know me, I just love the emblishment!
I love my new mason jar with pin cushion cover! I didn't know it was going to come with a pretty collection of assorted buttons either - What a bonus!
Thank you Mint Basil! You've really inspired me rethink the way I package my Knitterella items. I hope this post has inspired you as well!

The packaging is almost as good as what is inside! Nice.
Wow -- how pretty! I love packaging things in fabric, but my stuff isn't nearly that well done. The pin cushion is an especially good idea! :)
