Scarf For Mom

Guess who I missed on my scarf list this year… my mom! (oops! - she casually reminded me too) Thought I better hurry and get one done for her before Spring comes. Heck, with the way the weather has been here, she'll still get plenty of wear out of this baby.

It's such a soft and fun, boa like scarf to wear, and I had so much fun modeling it that I think I might have to get another one done for me too!

P.S. I do like a little foo-foo yarn evey now and then! ;)

Pattern Source: "Curlicue Ruffle Scarf" - one of 3 scarves from the Decidedly Different Scarves pattern. Designed by the talented Jennifer Hansen
Yarn: about 4 skeins of Plymouth Yarn Company, Firenze in color 430
Needle: size 13s
Notes: See more of my Curlicue Ruffle Scarfs here.

Guess, what I did on Friday… I did a podcast interview! Adrienne actually emailed me a couple weeks ago asking if she could do a podcast with me and we ended up doing it on Friday. I tell ya, I felt pretty silly because I wasn't sure why she wanted to podcast me but it was fun, we just talked knitting and a little sewing too. I haven't heard it played back yet but I was so nervous that I'm sure you can hear it in my voice and I'm pretty sure I sound like an idiot too! I am glad I did it thought and flattered that a Adrienne asked me to. It was a lot of fun chatting with her - she is so nice! If you want to check it out it will be posted on Conversations With Adrienne this Wednesday.
