Stripes For Max

I finished my stripey project

This knitted gift is going to new baby Max. I knit it up for a 6-9 months so I think it will be perfect for the fall months in Michigan. I'm very happy with the way it turned out - gray stripes and all!

************************************************************************

Pattern Source: Raglan Sweater from The Baby Knits Book by Debbie Bliss
Yarn: Patons Classic Merino Wool
Needles: size 6 for sweater and used size 7, 16" circulars for the hat
Size: 6-9 months
Notes: The hat is based off the Olive You! hat from Susan B. Anderson's book Itty-Bitty Nursery

So cute! I love the use of non-traditional colors for baby knits! The color combo is very sophisticated for a little guy.

Adorable! I love the grey. I knit a similar ensemble when my oldest was a baby and it couldn't have been cuter. Your recipient is one lucky baby!

It's so refreshing to see a baby sweater in non traditional colours. I think it perfect and it will probably be worn often.

Gorgeous! Thank you for not buying into the boys-must-wear-blue and babies-must-wear-bland-pastels myths.
