There's No Way

There's no way this Lacy Hug Me Tight Shrug will get done in time for the wedding I'm attending. I keep ribbing and ribbing, ribbing so much and so fast my fingers hurt! After the ribbing is finally done I'll still have all the lace to do too. Who was I kidding thinking I'd be able to get it done within a week.

Too bad to, it would have looked perfect with my dress.

Too bad! It's an adorable shrug and would make a perfect topper if the weather is chilly. I know how it can be with the ribbing though - tedious!

i also think it will look awesome with jeans!

Ribbing on a sock is almost too much for me!

It's looking beautiful though. I'm assuming the fabric is the fabric of your dress. It will look fantastic!

I'm sure you'll look adorable without it. I'm sure you'll find something else to wear it with. It's a great color to work with.
Have fun at your wedding.

Oh that is so sad it won't get finished. :( About two weeks before my sister's wedding I decided to knit her up a beautiful shawl....she was married in June and the yarn and pattern are still partly finished on a shelf in my closet. I know the feeling of your eyes are bigger then your knitting abilities/time :).

You can do it! Just stop sleeping! ;) Seriously though, that's the one unfortunate thing about knitting -- you can only rush it so much!

Oh thats a shame. It looks great so far though,I always underestimate how long it takes me to do things

Oh that sucks. It will match wonderfully, whenever it's finished! Just think, you have much more done with pushing for the deadline than you would have otherwise;) Keep at it, and have fun at the wedding this weekend - hope it's warm;)

Bummer it won't be done. You'll have to find a reason to wear that dress again when it's finished. People will gawk :)
