Christmas Cowgirl

As usual, I wait until a couples week before Christmas and decide, hey maybe I should knit some Christmas gifts…

I finished these Cowgirl Slipper Socks over the weekend and already casted on for a second pair. I think they'll be a sweet gift, and using Plucky yarn is the icing on the cake!

************************************************************************

Pattern Source: Cowgirl Slipper Socks from Interweave Knits, Winter 2006
Yarn: The Plucky Knitter  80/10/10 MCN SW, 250 yards, colorway Sis Boom Bah. (plenty yarn left over, maybe I'll make some baby socks with the scraps)
Needles: size 7
Notes: If you want to knit these, be sure to check the error in the pattern. I have it on my notes on my Ravelry project page here.

I'm right with you - toiling away on a project for a gathering Saturday - oh, let's pick a more complicated stranded beret (I've done ONE stranded project) doh!:) Your slippers are gorgeous and that colorway, lickable!

Those will be a great gift. What fun colors in the yarn. Someday I'm going to make these. Thanks for the heads up on the error.

These are really cute! But I shouldn't be reading blogs at all at the moment - too much Christmas knitting of my own to do!
