A Fresh Coat

This weekend EZ painted the nursery. Whisper Yellow.

The newly painted walls look great! I think this color is perfect for the nursery fabrics I picked out too. Finding something I liked that was gender neutral was harder than I thought but all these Dick and Jane prints make me happy.

Gosh, it's all so exciting! Feels great to have things rolling but I've still got lots and lots to do. My sewing and knitting list alone is overwhelming. I'll keep you updated and will post pictures of the nursery as it comes together. OK gotta run and get something else checked off my long list of To-Dos!

Knowing you I'm sure the nursery will be amazing! I have a couple books I'll have to pass on to you, seeing your theme. We've read them to the boys, but we're too immature to read them to them often, lol.

It's such a lovely color for a nursery. Dick and Jane goes well with the color!

I love yellow walls! It is both bright and happy yet calm and subdued depending on the light and time of day.

What is planned for the fabrics? A quilt? I think I still have some quilting and sewing books for babys. I'll have to check and see if there is anything you might be interested in.

Love the paint color and the fabrics! I still adore the Dick and Jane books. My kids have the two big collection books and learned to read with them. I still believe they are the BEST learn to read books ever. Can't wait to see what wonderful things will be made with the fabric. :)

I do love that colour so bright and vibrant. We had our baby girl last week and so far the nursery is cream and pink which is fine, I've been doing up my own prints on the Beatrix Potter themes to decorate the walls but as baby is now here, the job is much slower but will hopefully be finished in another few weeks. Can't wait to see your finished nursery.
