Alphabet Blanket

I finished it

and I love it!

************************************************************************

Pattern Source: "Alphabet Blanket" from The Baby Knits Book, by Debbie Bliss
Ravelry Link: Here
Yarn: Berroco, Comfort DK
Needles: size 4 and 5
Notes: If I make this again, I wouldn't pick up all the 239 stitches that the book calls for on the two sides. It seems to want to ruffle because I think there are too many stitches. Someone on Ravelry said they only picked up 187 - that probably would work better. Also, I didn't do the additional triangle border that the pattern called for.

Wow that must be a record for how quickly you knitted the blanket. It looks beautiful and the extra ruffles will make it even more cozy.

Beautiful! If you let baby sleep with it, it may become his/her favorite lovie! My little guy has a knitted blanket called "lello" for yellow. Yes, it's yellow. It's beginning to show its love-ness.
You look great! How much longer?
