Katie's Emmeline

I finally got the time I needed to finish this apron.

I was able to quickly snap a few pictures before shipping this out to a dear friend in Chicago. It was part of a wedding shower gift for her. When you want to make a gift, I think a handmade apron, packaged with a nice cookbook and any little extras is a great wedding shower gift idea.

Love that it's reversible and full-length. One of these days I'll make one for myself!

Ladder Stitch

This would have been done a long time ago but I decided to finish stitching up the halter straps by hand. Time consuming but the finish work is very nice.

First time using this Ladder Stitch - what a great stitch, very professional finish.

Some Craft Time

Believe it or not I've been able to fit in some straight craft time lately. It's a bit of 'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours'. EZ gets some 'fishing time' and then I get some 'craft time' - it's been working out great and it's been great to get back into it.

I got some sweet fabric at Jo Ann's - don't you love these prints? I think they are going to make a sweet Emmeline Apron!

Thank you for your help with this. I've got it figured out now! You guys are awesome!

Booties For My Boy

This is a great pattern from Natural Knits For Babies And Moms. I like that they are not knit in the round - the little bit of seaming at the end is just the right amount for my taste. These booties also stay on really well. Only thing I'd change is next time I'd make the twisted cord a bit longer so I have more to work with when tying them on.

7 Weeks

It's been 7 amazing weeks and WZ is getting so big! I'm already starting to have a pile of clothes that don't fit him anymore, * snif, snif * I can't believe how fast this time is flying by - I better run now so I can go cuddle him some more!
