Some Craft Time

Believe it or not I've been able to fit in some straight craft time lately. It's a bit of 'you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours'. EZ gets some 'fishing time' and then I get some 'craft time' - it's been working out great and it's been great to get back into it.

I got some sweet fabric at Jo Ann's - don't you love these prints? I think they are going to make a sweet Emmeline Apron!

Thank you for your help with this. I've got it figured out now! You guys are awesome!

When my 2nd daughter was a wee baby, Baby Daddy and I figured out a plan that worked amazingly.

He took the baby all day Saturday and I was free to do whatever I wanted. I took the baby all day Sunday and the same went for him.

It is awesome - she is 7 and we still do the same (although she certainly requires much less work - thankfully!!!)

It's so important to carve out that time for yourself! DH and I still try to do this for each other - boys are now 2 and 5 - and I always come back feeling refreshed after some time alone or in the company of other adults.

I LOVE those fabrics I can't believe you found those at Joann's, awesome!!

I hear ya on finding craft time, I usually do as above and switch out with my husband, but being a BF baby, that only limited me to 2 hours or so at a time
