An FO & A Bump

I have a new FO to show and this ones all for me! It's Summer Wind by the talented Irish Girlie Knits. This beautiful, externity scarf was a project I actually knitted start to finish on my trip to TNNA. It's an easy and rewarding pattern.

The pattern calls for fingering weight yarn so I was able to use some of my Plucky stash. Working with Sarah's yarn is always a treat. I plan on using this scarf a lot come fall/winter. I totally recommend this pattern. You can go get a copy for yourself HERE. And if you aren't familiar with Carrie's work you must check out her blog and her pattern page. She's the sweetest!

I thought I'd throw in this last photo. It's definitely not the best photo but it's a good shot of my belly bump. I'm over half way through and this pregnancy is flying by. So exciting!

Oops, I almost forgot, this scarf is part of a KAL too. KALs are always fun. You can go sign up here on the Summer Wind KAL Ravelry page.

You look lovely with your little (well, not so little) bump! How exciting! Nice scarf too! I hope to knit some Plunky yarn in a near future ;-)

I was so inspired by your scarf, I bought the pattern immediately and got some Madelinetosh fingering weight yarn in "Amber Trinket" and am nearly done! It's gorgeous ( though maybe not quite as gorgeous as yours - LOVE the colors in yours ). :) Thanks!
