Well isn't that a cute and useful way to use up scrap sock yarn. Only took 2 hours too!

I love this pattern! Made several as gifts for my wine-loving friends. Really dresses up a bottle. You don't need one of those pricy round containers, and you're right--it's a good way to use up the little nubbins of sock yarn.
Very cute! I have the book, so thanks for prompting my memory of it!
I have this book but can't see the pattern in it, what page is it on? How am I missing it. I've just discovered that I like red wines, I'd love to knit this! Of course it can be used on a white wine too ;)
