Blue Or Pink?

Blue or pink, what do you think?

I'm not sure either so I'm just going to have to knit both!

Ribbed Baby Set

How sweet it is to have an FO for BZ!

I finished my Ribbed Baby Set. The sweater is this free download from Debbie Bliss. I've made it before - it's a great little project. The hat is just a basic one that I've knit up to match. Love the pom-poms! Oh and the yarn is soooo soft and sweet, 100% Baby Llama.

Pattern Source: The Ribbed Baby Jacket by Debbie Bliss that you can find here
Yarn: Elsebeth Lavold Baby Llama (the yarn was from my stash, I'm guessing I used like 3 skeins)
Size: 9-12 months
Needles: 6s and 5s
Notes: The hat was just a pattern that I made up. A simple straight hat based of the measurements from The Knitter's Handy Book of Patterns: Basic Designs in Multiple Sizes and Gauges

My Belly Is Winning

I'm trying to knit as fast as my belly is growing…

…but my belly is winning.

When you weren't looking I casted on for another project. Now I'm more then half way done on my Sweet Pea Set (Ravelry Link here).

Forever Blanket

Oh my gosh this blanket is going to take FOREVER! The chart work is crazy. This is the most intricate thing I've ever tackled.

Sure is beautiful though. Let's hope it's done in time for BZ!

Thank you so much for the sweet birthday wishes! I did have a great day. I hope you all had a great Valentine's Day as well!

Favorite Blanket

Next on my needles is the Alphabet Blanket from The Baby Knits book by Debbie Bliss. From the first time I saw it, years ago, I always wanted to knit it but never wanted to knit it for anyone else but me. Now the time has come that I can! The yarn I ordered just came in and I'm anxious to start.

With a block for each letter of the alphabet, all the chart work scares me a bit but it will be so worth it!
