Knitting Buddy
My one and only niece Olivia, (the one I knit the hat for) is my new Knitting Buddy. She is 5 years old and is all about learning how to knit and I love it! We had our own little sit and knit tonight. Here she is knitting. She's working on a belt/scarf/hair tie thingy.

There is nothing so much fun as teaching "five" to knit- they are so proud and thrilled at the grown-up-ness of it all. It's as if it's initiation into a bigger world. What fun!
She is adorable!!! And already an excellent knitter!
