I'm very happy with how my Coachella turned out. The Metallic FX (which was from my stash - Yay!) almost looks like body armour or something. It's a dull/sparkly finish and I think it's pretty cool, especially for a night out on the town. Unfortunately my racer-back bra still showed (a lot) under this top. I do have a solution though, I'm wearing a long tub top under it here and I really like the way it looks and I still feel comfortable - let's face it, the Metallic yarn agaist the skin doesn't feel the best!
If I did this again I might try to work it on a larger needle (just one size up) so I would have more room and maybe get more drap, and like I told Tina, I would probably do it in a bamboo because that type of yarn really does give you a nice soft drap.
Pattern: Coachella
Source: Knitty
Yarn: 5 skeins of Berroco, Metallic FX
Notes: I didn't do the optional bust shaping. I probably would have had more drap if I did.

I *love* it! This is the knitty pattern that I plan on making, so I'm glad to see that you did it and that it turned out smokin' hot!
WOW! One hot mama! It looks fabulous on you.
I love it so much in the silver metallic........totally cool! Love that you had the metallic in your stash too!
That looks so perfect on you! Great job on using the stash, too. I always love digging through my yarn and finding great stuff I forgot I had.
So how is resolution #2 going, 3 baby hats a week?!? That snowman one makes me look forward to winter! You have to be sure and get a picture of the lucky baby modeling it for us.
Wow! Your Coachella looks absolutely stunning! It seems to have the perfect fit, and what an awesome color you chose for it! Congratulations on a really stunning accomplishment!
Holy Banana! It looks super hot. I think you should go out dancing tonight to celebrate!
Hot and awesome. Love the stars! Some serious glamor.
I came across your blog searching for "Coachella" and yours is one of the nicest I've seen so far! Great idea to do it in the metallic!
That looks awesome...I love the metallic look! Great job :)
I love this!!! I think it's so hot, and I never took a second glance at this knit pattern until your version!!
It looks gorgeous on you and the yarn choice is perfect!!
Yours is my favorite version, too! Looks great! I just realized yesterday that I knew you, lol. I've come across your blog at least twice in the last month or two, but didn't realize who you were! Mine is down right now, but I'm Carolynn, and I just had my 3rd boy (Spencer). Anywho -- congrats on the top!
You look hot!! :)
