INVENTORY SALE: Part Three

The third and final part of my INVENTORY SALE is… YARN! Yup. This move made realize that I'm not only overstocked with Knitterella inventory but that I'm also overstocked with a HUGE yarn stash! Although I've always had intentions to knit up all this beautiful yarn I thought I better try and weed it down a bit before things get really out of hand.

Below are some quantity and quality worthy yarn bundles from my personal yarn stash. All from a smoke-free, pet-free environment. Sales will be first come, first serve. So if you'd like a yarn bundle(s) below, simply email me at knitterella@knitterella.com telling me what bundle(s) you'd like. If payment doesn't happen within 24 hrs via PayPal, I will go to the next offer. Once you email me, please wait for me to respond back before sending payment.

I prefer to only ship within the United States via Priority Mail. Shipping and handling prices have already been figured out in the price(s) as listed below.

Happy shopping…

Plucky Mail

I love getting Plucky mail! I squealed with excitement when I saw this in my mailbox. 5 skeins of Sarah's new PRIMO!!! This is some payment for design work that I've done for her.

My plans are to make Pas de Valse. I think it will look great! Gosh, I have so many projects fighting for my attention right now. I've casted on for Sassymetrical already but once it's done I should be casting on with this lovely Primo next!

Oh, and if you haven't checked out the new issue of Twist Collective you must. There are many gorgeous patterns for fall!

Yarn Mail

Woo-Who! Yarn Mail from Plucky - my favorite! Oh the gorgeous colors and textures and… cashmere!!! So yummy and so needed because friends, I have not had the desire to knit one stitch in like the past 3 weeks. I'm serious… I lost my crafty mojo and I'm not quite sure what to do with myself. I think this package from Plucky couldn't have come at a better time. It's bound to get me back in my knitting groove - hope so!

As always, it's a pleasure doing business with you Plucky. I'll work for yarn any time!

A Busta Bust

After all the stash research I did I was able to come up with multiple projects that I could work on. I need to finish at least one before I can buy more yarn for something else and boy do I have the itch to buy new yarn and knit new sweaters for me - I think the fall weather creeping up us has a lot to do with it!

I'm pretty excited about my picks - still can't believe all this yarn I have in my stash but these projects will put a dent in it for sure! First off, the Lacy Hug Me Tight Shrug from Knit 2 Together. You know I love my shrugs and I'm going to try to get this done for an up coming wedding next weekend. I know I'm cuttin' it close on time so we'll see if I actually get it done.

This will bust about 7 skeins of my Reynolds, Mandalay

Then I'm going to knit a sweater for me. I'm very excited for this one! I don't have the pattern picture to show you yet but you are going to love it. And yes, it involves all these buttons!

This will bust about 16 skeins of Elsebeth Lavold, Baby Llama from my stash

But before I even cast on for either of those I have to finish this baby set. I actually finished the first one that I showed you a sneak peek of but it looked way to small so I'm re-knitting this waaaay belated baby gift to a bigger size and I better move fast, I don't want the baby to out grow it before I even cast off!

This bust about 4 skeins of my Berroco, Ultra Alpaca

If I'm successful and stick to these projects I'll bust about 27 skeins from my stash!!! Then I won't feel so buy when I go buy more  ;)

Hope to show you some FOs soon!

Inspired By Color 2

Pretty, Merino Seacell yarn called "Parfait" from The Plucky Knitter and pretty, pink cosmo from my backyard garden.

Now the question is, do I cast on for Froot Loop or Spring Forward? Decisions, decisions!

In other news, I got an email from Twist Collective and they asked if they could feature my Sweater Card in the upcoming winter issue. How sweet is that?! Yey for Knitterella!

Inspired By Color No. 1

I couldn't help but think that the beautiful sunflowers in my backyard resemble the beautiful yarn that I have wound and ready for one of my next projects.

The yarn is called "Caroline Hat" and it's 100% merino worsted, hand-painted yarn from The Plucky Knitter. It's just waiting to be cast on for my Cowgirl Slipper Socks.

I've also been working on some knitted baby gifts but can't show them until they have been gifted. I'm looking forward to posting some nice photos of them and hopefully soon!

Pay Me In Yarn Please

No Plucky, Thank YOU!

After gladly doing more work for Plucky (Ravelry ad, another logo, etc) I received another box of yummy Plucky yarn. Ooooo, and it's a good one! Can't wait to cast-on for something with it.

I'm thinking of doing socks, maybe with some of the DK weight or the fingering yarn. I don't know socks very well but I know the yarn would be perfect. Any suggestions on a simple, nice and possibly free pattern for me? I'll scope out Ravelry and Knitty of course but if you had any ideas on patterns you like I'd love to hear 'em!

Time To Make The Hats

Time to get out my favorite hat yarn because I've got more babies to knit for!

As you know, baby hats are my favorite gift to knit and give new babies but I'm wondering, what do I do when they are summer babies? Do I just knit 6 month and up sized hats so they have them for the fall and winter? Or would a baby need a hat in the summer? Maybe just like a cotton hat to protect their little heads from the sun? I suppose that would probably be useful right?

What is your favorite gift to make for summer babies? If you have any ideas to share or maybe a favorite gift that you got for your newborn or pattern I'd love to hear it!

Will Work For Yarn

Did I mention that I will work for yarn? Well heck yes I will - I'm mean, it's what I spend my money on anyway!

This is what I got in return for working on The Plucky Knitter's new logo for Plucky Classics. Check out all the beautiful hand-dyed yarn she sent me!!! Oh my gosh, what a package! So excited to cast on with one of these beauties! I think a Chickadee Cowl is in my near future. Now if I could only finishing what I'm working on now, like the Fiery Bolero by Debbie Bliss that I have yet to shown you, or the socks that I'm making for EZ. Well, I guess casting on for one more project wouldn't hurt, right?!

In other news, I've been trying to update Jill Zielinski Designs a little bit at a time. Still have so much more to do but it feels good to have made more progress!

Splurge!

I finished my Pimlico Shrug and I just love it! Once I get some good photos of it I will post.

In-the-mean-time, I casted on for my usual Itty-Bitty Hats - always a must knit for me, always have the yarn for it and always have babies to knit for so they are easy projects to have going while I try to decide what to cast on for next. Soooooo, while trying to decide what to do I thought I better use a couple gift cards that I'd had to one of my LYS. I decided on this pattern, Comfy Kimono from Rowan Classic Accessories that I always wanted to try but knew it'd be a lot to tackle and pretty pricey but since I had the gift cards I totally went for it!!! Check it out…

OMG, I hope this turns out! The Baby Llama yarn is soooooo nice.

This will be the most intricate pattern I've done. Hope mine looks as cool as the one on this model.

Wish me luck. It will probably take me until Fall!

Yummy Merino

I stop into the wonderful and newly opened Apple Valley Yarn Company today and came home with some goodies. Yarn I didn't even know I needed ; )

My nephew's birthday is this weekend and he asked for a knitted hat (isn't that great!) so the blue is for him. I look forward to seeing what I do with the rest of this yummy merino!
